Go to Reports -> Order Reports -> Product Availability Report

This report is designed to show the supply and demand for each product, split over the next few months. It displays all products, their quantities on hand, required and on order.

Selected Parts:
Select the products to report on. The default is "All Products". See Selecting Accounts for Reports & Processing.

Stock/Supply Branch:
Select the branches to report on. The default is "All Branches".

Forecast Months:
Enter the number of months to report. The purchases and sales are reported in separate columns for each month. This is based on the due date for purchase orders and the forward order release date for sales orders.

Output Device:
Select the output device for the report. See Creating Reports - General Comments for details.

Run Report.

The report includes a "Note" column to the right of the "On Order" column. This column may have the word "SHORT" in it for any product where the available quantity (including incoming purchase orders) does not meet the required demand. Additional purchase orders may need to be generated to meet this demand.
